The Sea Cadet band from Woking Sea Cadets took part in the Southern Area Sea Cadet Band Competition at HMS Excellent down in Portsmouth on Sunday 22nd June 08. They won, beating off opposition from bands from other sea cadet units in the south. The band from Woking was entered in the Contest Class element of the competition along with bands from Poole, High Wycombe and Herne Bay.
