Blackwall Hitch 66k Double Blackwall Hitch 53k
Blackwall Hitch: A quick means of attaching a rope to a hook. It is used when the rope and hook are of equal size and is likely to slip if subjected to more than ordinary strain. Double Blackwall Hitch: Used when the rope and hook are of unequal size.  

midshipmans hitch 73k
Midshipman's hitch: Used instead of the Blackwall hitch if the rope is at all greasy. It is made by first forming a Blackwall hitch and then taking the underneath part and placing it over the bill of the hook. Cat's Paw: Used for shortening a cordage strop.
