Woking Sea Cadets are celebrating after planning permission was granted for a new Unit building next to Goldsworth Park Lake.

The Cadets moving because Woking Borough Council want to redevelop our current site in Westfield Avenue. Woking Borough Council submitted the plans and the application was approved by seven votes to none.

It is hoped that work will start on the £1.8m unit in Sept 2007, with completion in late spring 2008. The new headquarters will be a “Flagship” in the Sea Cadets and is already attracting a lot of attention from interested parties.
